Information we collect

• Account information: if you create an account, we store your email address (through our authentication provider) and a display handle.
• Practice data: your lesson progress, error heatmap, typing statistics, streaks, and leaderboard scores.
• Messages: anything you send us through the contact form.
• Technical data: standard request information such as IP address and browser type, used for security and rate limiting.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies. Essential cookies keep you signed in (these are httpOnly session cookies) and remember your advertising-consent choice. Advertising partners, including Google, may also set cookies as described below.

Advertising and Google AdSense

ThaiTyper is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits.

• You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
• In the EEA and UK, we ask for your consent before personalised ads are served; until you consent, only non-personalised ads are shown.

How we use your information

We use your information to provide the typing trainer, save and sync your progress, operate leaderboards and achievements, respond to your messages, protect the service from abuse, and show advertising that keeps ThaiTyper free.

Data storage and security

Account and practice data are stored in a managed PostgreSQL database (Supabase) and are accessed only by our server. We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices and rights

You can sign out at any time, change your advertising-consent choice, and request access to or deletion of your account data by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.

Children

ThaiTyper is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the 'last updated' date above.
